PTI stives to expand its scale of research and development in the field of semiconductor packaging and testing. Also, the company has spared no effort to deepen university-industry cooperation and participate in various external organizations to nurture and empower young talents.

Industry-University integration to cultivate talents
The GOLF（Gap of Learning & Field） Association aims to bridge the gap between university education and industry expertise. Advanced online professional training courses and various internship programs are provided by partner enterprises, in the hopes of encouraging students to connect with the industry through industry-university cooperation. Since joining the GOLF Association in 2018, PTI has spared no effort to invest in diversified learning resources for the sustainable operation of the association, collaborating with industry enterprises and universities to establish online learning platforms, fulfilling corporate social responsibility and giving back to the society.
PTI also established its online learning platform through GOLF platform, providing training courses to increase students’ continued specialization. The learning roadmap is divided into three main topics including semiconductor packaging, testing process, quality tool and soft power in the workplace. Such courses enable students to explore practical skills and learn about the semiconductor technology, which also shorten the company’s time to cultivate internal talents.
PTI mainly takes the role of coordinating learning resource in the GOLF Association. The company actively gathers courses from all industry expertise and university partners , expanding the genres of courses and knowledge to provide extensive professional learning resources to students.
In the meantime, PIT actively seeks out diverse channels to better communicate with the new generation of potential talents. A series of campus lectures offer the excellent method for the company to break down the space barriers with students. The company not only enhances the attractiveness as an employer but creates a win-win situation for industry and academia as well in this manner. During the lecture, students are enabled to familiarize themselves with the industry and identify a domain of interest for future career development.
Industry-academia Collaboration
PTI is deeply committed to industry-academia cooperation, partnering with various colleges and universities to arrange activities such as industry lecturers, company visits, and career lectures. Through these activities, PTI enhances the young students' understanding of the semiconductor and testing and packaging industry, while providing diverse internship opportunities for hands-on workplace experience. This approach helps students gain practical knowledge, improve their future career competitiveness and cultivate the talent needed for the industry, effectively bridging the gap between academia and the job market.
PTI’s Future Stars
Summer Internship Program
We focus on exploring the packaging and testing industry through the “Future Stars” initiative, which includes four main development themes. Starting with “Workplace Experience”, we introduce students to various job roles within the industry. The “Industry Trends” theme helps students understand the packaging and testing processes and future product applications. In “Career Exploration”, students learn from the experiences and stories of mid- to senior-level managers, encouraging them to reflect on their own learning journeys. Lastly, the “Networking” theme provides opportunities for students to build professional connections through weekly events, allowing them to meet interns from different departments and start establishing their professional networks during their internship period.
