Supply Chain Management

Suppliers, as important partners of PTI, fulfill their corporate social responsibilities through a close collaborative model. Besides taking into consideration of quality and lead time, efforts have been devoted to urging suppliers to value and fulfill requirements for human rights of employees, environmental protection, and safety and health in the joint pursuit of sustainable corporate operation and growth, creating a win-win sustainable supply chain.

Comprehensive Supplier Management

Hold “Supplier Social Responsibility Forum”

In order to establish a sustainable supply chain and effectively convey the awareness of sustainability, PTI organizes a supplier forum every year. The content is provided in Chinese and English to domestic and foreign suppliers to help suppliers grow together and maintain a good interactive relationship with suppliers. We also share sustainable development trends and exchange each other's ESG performance, as well as communicate quality policies, business integrity and ethics, social responsibility management, environmental policies, implement greenhouse gas inventories and request suppliers to proactively set their carbon reduction targets. Through supply chain communication and cooperation, we aim to build a green, sustainable supply chain, creating win-win shared value.

The 2023 Supplier Social Responsibility Forum was attended by 156 suppliers in total; 184 representatives from suppliers of chemicals, direct materials, and labor recruitment agencies took part in the forum.

Suppliers' Responsible Mining Management

In order to ensure that no conflicting minerals are used in our products, besides conducting comprehensive conflicting minerals surveys since 2012 and demanding that all suppliers disclose the list of their collaborative smelting plants and mines, PTI requires that suppliers follow PTI’s policy on the no use of conflicting minerals for the gold, tantalum, tin, and tungsten used in our products and purchase from approved non-conflicting smelting plants and mines. In addition, when the Conflicting Minerals Reporting Template is updated, we will perform a comprehensive supply chain conflicting minerals survey among direct material and packing material suppliers and assist them in conducting relevant investigations for non-conformities and make corrections and ensure the Company has implemented the qualified smelter conversion plan and maintained and achieved the goal of procuring 100% of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold from qualified smelters. 100% of our suppliers are non-conflict mineral qualified manufacturers, meeting the requirements of PTI.
